Hate Forest - Sorrow (2005)

Raw Black Metal with Ambient Elements

Funeral Revolt - The Perfect Sin (2005)

Death Metal

I see there's a trend of combining lots of electronic elements with metal music. And I quite don't like this kind of music. Don't use too much synthesizer!

Harem Scarem - Higher (2003)

Melodic Rock

Definitely not a metal album. I uploaded this album for a friend yesterday (yeah 'she' wheedled me although I was busy like hell lol). Then I decided to post the link here as well. Some of you may never heard of this band, they're mature but their music is fresh and full of energy. rated this album 100% and stayed at #2 of best melodic rock albums of 2003. More info.

Autumn Tears - Love Poems For Dying Children - Act I (1996)

-hard to describe their music!-

01. They Watch With Closed Eyes
02. Ode To My Forthcoming Winter - Part 1. Spring
03. Ode To My Forthcoming Winter - Part 2. Summer
04. Ode To My Forthcoming Winter - Part 3. Autumn
05. Ode To My Forthcoming Winter - Part 4. Winter
06. The Eloquent Sleep
07. And Then The Whispering
08. One Tender Kiss (The Lost Season) - Prelude To 'The Garden Of Crystalline Dreams'
09. Carfax Abbey

Hey, just managed some free time! Here we go... Autumn Tears, my favourite band.

"Highly original, haunting orchestration, dark, foreboding poetry and epic symphonies. Influences include Dead can Dance, Third & the Mortal as well as classical music. Dark funeral organs, melodic piano passages, beautiful, angelic female vocals, duets and dark, depressing atmosphere encompass only a portion of this opus. Special guest appearance from members of December Wolves. A dark, depressing saga of emotionally brooding musical poetry. Delve into the depths of everlasting sorrow." -

(I like this Hemen Paylas!)

Funeral - Tragedies (1995)

Funeral Doom/Death/Gothic Metal

by Icewind Dale

Madder Mortem - Desiderata (2006)

Atmospheric Dark Metal

I've removed the previous post of Ihsahn - The Adversary (2006) due to missing the last track in the package. I'm so sorry to those who have downloaded it. Here's another link for you. Damn, I can't download it, there's something wrong each time I save the file to my computer. I hope you're able to download it and then re-upload the last track for me. Yay, I don't have it too, a fake copy I had :(

Psychopathology Orchestra - Valses de l'orchestre psychiatrique de Dijon (2003)

Experimental/Progressive Death Metal

Daniel recommended me this album. Now I recommend it to you! LOL

1 - Intro (Hellraiser III)
2 - Psychopathology Orchestra
3 - Children of living death
4 - 665 ' Symphony
5 - Slashers
6 - It's time to kill
7 - 667 ' Symphony

The Elysian Fields - Suffering G.O.D. Almighty (2005)

Extreme Melodic Death Metal

It's a mix of Swedish fearsome death metal with Finnish electronic elements.

Some of you might think that late Dark Tranquillity albums are a reference in terms of blending Melodic Death Metal with electronic elements. Well, you’re right but I think The Elysian Fields are pushing the envelope even further on this album and it’s all working for them." - divinerapture@Metal-Archives

Benighted - Identisick (2006)

Brutal Death Metal

I had a talk about Death Metal in 2006 with a friend of mine (No-Skull) some days ago. And he ended up telling me a favourite Brutal Death band of him: Benighted, from France. He told me that their latest release is a must have for any guys into Brutal (as well as all their albums before!). Hmm, I'm not sure about it since I don't like Brutal much. But the sound in this album is pretty good, fast, tight and very aggressive. It's up to you \m/

Oh and he also told me that the guitar player in this band is an overseas Vietnamese. So you guys Vietnamese, check it out.

Pentagram - Anatolia (1997)

Heavy / Thrash Metal with some ethnic elements

PENTAGRAM, in order to avoid confusion with the American Doom veterans (and other Pentagram from Sweden, Mexico, Chile), are known as MERZARKABUL ("Acceptance of Death") outside of Turkey.

Many thanks to Icewind Dale for giving me this link :)

Mystic Circle - The Bloody Path of God (2006)

Melodic Black Metal

Andersen / Laine / Readman - III (2006)

Melodic Hard Rock
Denmark / USA / UK

Unveiled during 2005, ANDERSEN / LAINE / READMAN was the vision of ROYAL HUNT keyboard player ANDRE ANDERSEN. The album 'III', issued through the Italian Frontiers label in March 2006, saw vocal duties shared between Paul Laine of DANGER DANGER and David Readman of PINK CREAM 69.

The lineup on the record is completed by Kenny Lubcke on background vocals, Bjarke Hopen on lead guitar and Kaj Laege on drums.

Deathstars - Termination Bliss (2006)

Electro Dark Metal

imo, this is a very good combination of electric and metal music. they use lots of synthesizer but still have quite good powerful riffs. hmm, maybe it's better than Gothminister's Empire Of Dark Salvation last year. most of the songs in this album are really exciting.
